Meetings sourcing and management platform provider Cvent this week announced the top meetings destination and hotels in North America, Europe, the Middle East Asia and, for the first time, Latin America and the Caribbean based on search and sourcing activity tied to a record $16.5 billion in event volume placed through the platform last year.

Orlando once again took the top spot for meetings destinations, followed unsurprisingly by Las Vegas at No. 3. Chicago jumped to third place from No. 6 last year, while Washington, D.C.—in the election year—jumped from No. 18 to No. 8.

While Nashville came in No. 4 among meetings destinations, the cities hotels were the big winners when it came to ranking meetings hotels in North America. The city boasted four of the top 10 meetings hotels in the country, with the Renaissance Nashville Hotel taking the top spot.
