The following report on the Iroquois New York Hotel has been graciously provided by one of our clients and is published here with their permission.
I recently had the pleasure of staying for two nights at the Hotel Iroquois New York in Midtown Manhattan. It was truly an exceptional experience, and I wanted to share why I believe this hotel is an outstanding choice.
The Hotel Iroquois, situated at 49 West 44th Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues), is literally a stone’s throw from many companys. The easy walking distance makes the daily commute incredibly convenient. This is a significant advantage for anyone traveling to New York from other regions. Additionally, major landmarks like Grand Central Terminal, Times Square, and Bryant Park are within easy walking distance, making it convenient for both business activities and exploring the city after hours.
As many of you know, hotels in the immediate Times Square vicinity can be quite expensive due to their prime location. However, the Hotel Iroquois stands out by offering remarkable value. Considering it recently completed renovations, ensuring modern comfort and updated facilities, combined with the exceptionally kind and friendly service I personally experienced from the staff, I can confidently say this hotel offers excellent value for its price point compared to other similarly priced hotels nearby. It delivers a quality experience that meets or even exceeds expectations for its cost.
The building itself, with over a century of history, exudes the timeless, elegant charm that many visitors associate with classic New York. The recent renovation has skillfully blended this historic character with modern amenities and comfort, creating a truly appealing atmosphere. It offers a sophisticated and calm environment, a welcome contrast to the bustle outside.
Throughout my stay, the staff’s hospitality was truly noteworthy and further enhanced the hotel’s value. Everyone I encountered was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive to detail, creating a very welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. This high standard of service provides peace of mind and makes it an ideal place for welcoming colleagues and guests.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with necessary amenities for a business trip, including reliable complimentary Wi-Fi, a work desk, and ironing facilities. The hotel also features a 24-hour fitness center, a sauna for relaxation, the highly-regarded French restaurant “Triomphe,” and the cozy, speakeasy-style bar “Lantern’s Keep” – convenient options for dining or unwinding.
