The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has declared short-term visa exemption measures for various countries, including Japan. These measures will take effect on November 30th of this year and will remain in place until midnight on December 31st, 2025.
This will enable Japanese citizens to enter China without a visa for stays of less than 30 days.
If you do not meet the criteria for a visa exemption, you will still be required to secure a visa.
