Japan Airlines launches a new Narita-Chicago route on May 31 to meet travel demand between Japan, North America, Southeast Asia, and India.
With this addition, the Tokyo – Chicago route will operate two daily flights, including the Haneda service.

During the summer schedule period (until around late October), the flight will depart Chicago at 12:30 PM and arrive in Narita at 3:15 PM the following day. The return flight will depart Narita at 6:15 PM and arrive in Chicago at 4:00 PM on the same day.
Reservations for the Narita – Chicago route will be available starting at 3:00 PM (JST) on February 12.
* From September 1 to October 25, 2025, the flight will arrive in Chicago at 3:45 PM and depart from Chicago at 12:10 PM.
As a result, the Chicago-Tokyo route will operate two daily flights, including the Haneda-bound service. However, the departure time for the Chicago-Haneda flight will be significantly changed to 1:30 AM.
