Hotel New Otani is a tranquil urban retreat, nestled away from the bustling city center and surrounded by a historic 10-acre Japanese garden that dates back to the 16th century.

The hotel complex consists of three distinct accommodation styles—EXECUTIVE HOUSE ZEN, “The Main,” and Garden Tower—as well as the Garden Court, which houses office facilities. A variety of restaurants, banquet halls, and a shopping arcade cater to diverse needs.

Following a major renovation, “The Main” reopened in 2007 as a “hybrid hotel” with enhanced seismic performance, reduced environmental impact, and elevated hospitality. It also features EXECUTIVE HOUSE ZEN, an exclusive hotel-in-a-hotel experience on the 11th and 12th floors.

Now an iconic Japanese luxury hotel, we proudly celebrated our 60th anniversary in 2024. In 2025, Forbes Travel Guide awarded EXECUTIVE HOUSE ZEN a five-star rating for the sixth consecutive year since 2020, while The Main received a four-star rating for the fifth year in a row since 2021.
