International arrivals in Japan were record-high 3.4 million for July

According to the Travel Voice was announced International arrivals in Japan were record-high 3.4 million for July, despite year-on-year reductions in six source markets

Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) announced that the number of international arrivals in Japan in July 2025 was up 4.4% year on year to record-high 3,437,000 for July, despite the growth rate was the lowest in this year.

JNTO said that visitors from East Asia, U.S., Europe, Australia and Middle East increased due to the school holiday season. Visitors from 15 source markets reached record-high for July, including record-breaking visitors from Taiwan in the history.

On the contrary, visitors from six source markets in East and Southeast Asia reduced year ion year.
