American Airlines announced this mileage accrual criteria have been canceled on 30th MAY 2024.
American Airlines announced that as of May 1, 2024, American Airlines miles will no longer be awarded for tickets reserved or purchased outside of aa.com, with some exceptions. However, they have announced a change in the starting date from May 1 to July 11, 2024. Until July 10, 2024, miles will be accrued regardless of the booking method. However, starting from July 11, 2024, the conditions will change, and miles will no longer be accrued for reservations made outside of aa.com.
As such, as noted below, you now have until this new date to sign up for AAdvantage Business™ program, which will allow you to continue purchasing tickets through Kintetsu, while retaining the ability to still earn mileage and loyalty points.
