Recently JetBlue and American Airlines announced increasing for checked bags, then United Airlines Delta Air Lines and Alaska Airlines followed.
Instead of paying the checked baggage fee at the airport, a discount will be applied when you pay the fee online for some of the airlines. If you have baggage, please make the payment online or through the app at least 24 hours before departure.
